THE PROCESSA Google Form will be publicly live when I am accepting commissions. Once the commission form is filled out by you and sent, I will review and message you back via email if I accept. No email back means I have declined your commission for the time being.
I have the right to refuse a commission without explanation.
All communication in regards to commissions is solely through email. It’s difficult for me to keep track of DMs across multiple platforms, thanks for understanding!
A quote will be given along with a rough sketch. Once the client approves of the rough sketch and price, an invoice will be sent via Paypal. Payment is to be made in full before I begin my work. The client will have 1 week to respond and pay, or they risk being bumped back into a queue. I will make an effort to reach out beforehand, but the client must respond in a timely manner.
I will begin the rendering process once the invoice is paid.
The client will receive a refined sketch, and suggestions for changes is to be made at this time.
Any major changes requested after this stage (pose, composition, new idea) will result in compensation for my time, so please be 100% sure you’re satisfied with the initial draft before we proceed to the rendering! Slight adjustments are allowed here (color, expression, etc).
The client is allowed to request work in progress images. I will also provide them when significant progress is made, or if I need insight from you in regards to the artwork. Once the commission is completed, the client will receive a full sized jpeg or png file.
Illustrated works will be in a print ready 11x17” size, and busts/halfbody will be 8.5x10” unless requested.
REFUNDSIf I have not yet started on the commission after the initial draft, the client reserves the right to a full refund. If I am in the process of working, I will refund the amount that I feel is suitable for how far along I am with the artwork. This can vary on the timing of the refund request. No refunds after the commission is completed—No exceptions.I may sell fanart commissions at conventions or from my print shop. I have the right to use commission artwork for promotional purposes, unless otherwise stated by the commissioner in writing. If you want to keep your commission off social media or remain anonymous, lemme know!
I will never sell pieces including your original characters.
You may use the commissioned artwork for personal use (icons, banner, cellphone case, T-shirt, card, etc) so long as it’s for non profit, and solely for your own personal enjoyment or a gift.
Re-selling the artwork for personal profit is strictly prohibited—a copyright transfer will need to be discussed (I do not offer this service at this time).
You may post the finished artwork on your social media, but credit to me and a link back to any of my social media is highly encouraged. I’m @Sagewindfeather on Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, and Etsy!
I retain copyright to the artwork itself, but not the character/s depicted.
Thanks a lot for reading through this long post! I look forward to working for you and making the cool arts!
Have a great day~♥!

Hi, I'm Sage! I'm a freelance artist who loves drawing characters from MMOs (FFXIV and WoW), TTRPGs (D&D and Pathfinder), cute ladies, and good ol' nostalgic things!I'm typically traveling across the country selling my artwork at anime/gaming conventions, or freelancing for folks who are interested in character designs.
I have done contract work for countless authors (fantasy/children's books) indie game devs and film studios.
